Want a practice page that views like a web page?
It's not that hard to do, and is great for viewing your auction!



To find Notepad, click on Start ... Programs ... Accessories ... Notepad
You can create a shortcut to Notepad by right clicking on Notepad ... create shortcut.

Once you have Notepad open, type this in or, you can left click, highlight and copy the code below, then right click and paste into Notepad.

Copy and paste your text and images here.

When you are done, click file.....save as.....whatever title you like.html or .htm and save it to your desktop.  Close the notepad page.   You should now see an icon for it on the desktop.   Click on it and open it, and it will look like a web page.   To add or to edit, go to view......source.  A notepad page will come up.  You can then add or delete your text or images from that notepad page.   Always, after making any changes, click file........save.   This will keep the changes you have made.  If you don't like the change you made, you can undo by clicking edit ........ undo.   Again, save any changes that you make, even if you undo a mistake.


Remember, because Ebay is already a web page, you do not need all of this code for your description.   To make a page for Ebay, just copy and paste starting under the <body> and stop right before the </body> tags and paste it into the description box.



Alright!
Now, if you want to upload the HTML page and make it a web page, just log in to your member files, find the HTML page with the title you named it,(we placed it on the desktop) and upload with the Upload Manager.
It will be in your files, just like an image file, and you will have a web page!
